event services

Before cookies and farmer's markets filled my brain, I was working as an event coordinator in the museum field. I coordinated all aspects of the museum’s educational & family events, the largest of which drew 2,000 guests and utilized 80 volunteers. I have experience organizing staff and vendors, creating educational activities and programming, booking performances, publicizing events with the media, formulating guest satisfaction surveys, and interfacing with sponsors, community organizations, and guests. If you'd like to work with me to coordinate your market, wedding, community event, or more, please take a look at some of my skills below and get in touch here.

  • Developed and managed annual operating budgets for all events and the museum's volunteer program, and managed contracts for performers and rentals.

  • Formed partnerships with dozens of local businesses, learning institutions, government entities, performers, and other organizations to offer diverse programming.

  • Acted as the face of the museum with Facebook Live updates for the public, as well as in-studio and on-site appearances for local news outlets.

  • Managed a program of 340 volunteers contributing 6,500 hours of service per year, recruiting volunteers via diverse partnerships with local high schools, colleges, and a variety of community organizations.

  • Maintained exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure guest, staff, volunteer, and vendor happiness and retention.
